L’assegurança del globus aerostàtic cobrirà el cost que tindrà reparar i tornar a posar la bola de la part superior de la façana de l’església de Folgueroles.
Diumenge a 1/4 de 9 del matí un globus de l’empresa Kon-tiki d’Igualada, tal com informava EL 9 NOU d’aquest dilluns, va impactar amb la bola. Aquesta va caure i va fer malbé un arbre. No hi va haver desgràcies ni entre els vianants ni entre els ocupants del globus.
L’accident ha estat tema de conversa als carrers de Folgueroles que han vist com, per uns dies, es modificava el perfil de l’església.
Susanna Moroni, de Kon-tiki, diu que s’han posat en contacte amb la parròquia perquè l’assegurança cobreixi el cost dels desperfectes.
El rector, Francesc Basora, ha assegurat que la restitució de la bola no serà imminent. Ara cal que els tècnics analitzin l’estructura on estava subjectada per saber si també “ha quedat afectada”. Llavors faran arribar el pressupost a l’asseguradora. Amb l’accident també es van produir desperfectes a la teulada que es començaran a reparar de forma imminent.
Aquest fets no són freqüents. Quim Boet, pilot de globus de l’osonenca Baló Tour, diu que l’accident és “aïllat”. Boet també va patir un sobresalt similar ara fa una dècada. En aquests casos, la tasca del pilot passa per “tranquil·litzar” els passatgers i tornar a aixecar l’aeronau.
